Tu B'shvat Family Fun Day- Sunday, Feb 16

Join us for Tu B’Shvat 2025 – the Jewish New Year for the trees. This family fun day brings together Jewish learning, outdoor adventures, and eco-friendly activities at Shalom Institute’s beautiful Malibu campus. Enjoy our new Climbing Wall & Ropes Course up in the trees and experience Tu B’Shvat -themed activities. Note: due to limited capacity, we cannot guarantee Climbing Wall & Ropes Course spots for participants arriving after 2:30 PM. Bring your own lunch to enjoy under our trees. Please leave your pets at home.

Schedule:

10:30am -12:00pm – Teen Service Day ( a pre-event for teens in grades 8-11)

12:00pm – 4:00 pm – Family Fun Day

REST & REGENERATION AT THE FARM

Workshop Fee:$18 per participant

Join Musician, Jared Stein and Teaching-Artist, Ilana Jaffe-Lewis for a nourishing and regenerative afternoon at the farm. This program is designed specifically for caregivers and parents of fellows. Through music and visual art, caregivers will connect with each other, tap into their own creativity, and refill their cups. No previous experience in music or art is needed. This workshop is designed to meet people where they are at. Come as you are. All materials will be provided.

Please join us Sunday, March 30, from 1-3 PM for SUNDAY AT THE FARM WITH FRIENDS: an Open House Event.

We are excited to invite you to explore the Farm, learn about our enterprise and program, tour our garden, learn about our farming process, enjoy our farm stand and tasting table, meet our vendors and artisan friends, participate in activities like pickling, tie dye, bookmark making, and simply enjoy the day!

The event is FREE, and EveryBODY is welcome! You can drop by for 10 minutes or stay the whole two hours.
